Alison is an artist working from home in Co. Limerick, Ireland.

Growing up in the countryside has influenced the way she perceives the world around her. Ireland, with all its beauty and its ruggedness is a constant inspiration. She is fascinated by the sky, the seasons, the transitions of each day to night. The forgotten roads, old rundown cottages, the wildlife of Ireland are what attracts her the most of all.

There is a story in the everyday things that surround us and every now and again she drifts between what is real and her imaginary world which brings an illustrative quality and Fairytale element to her paintings.

Her current use of soft pastel, charcoal and oils allow a sense of freedom to her expression as an artist.
