Originally from Andalusia in Spain, Pilar now live and work in Kilkenny, Ireland.
Pilar Cereto is a portrait artist and figurative painter with a mythical touch, working predominantly in acrylics and oils mixing the old with the new.
She is particularly interested in the female form and how women are perceived and depicted through the ages. Through her artwork, she explores themes of feminism, sexuality and the human condition.
