Chestnut honey is a true forest honey. Dark in colour and less sweet, it has a strong aromatic taste and a slightly bitter after taste. Rich in pollen content, mineral salts and tannin, chestnut honey has more antioxidants and greater anti-inflammatory properties than paler varieties.
